An investigation into a landslide in Johnstown on Wednesday, that resulted in the closing of Menoher Blvd., and Barnett Street remains under investigation. The landslide occurred because of the heavy rains, when an embankment slid about 25 feet straight down, right at the edge of Menoher Blvd. Penelec is working to replace downed utility poles, and PennDOT continues to conduct an investigation. In the meantime Barnett Street, which sits below the hillside, is still closed, and all lanes of Menoher, except for the lane closet to the guard rail, are open.
