A 53 year old Philipsburg man has been charged with making bomb threats at RJ’s Pub and Grill in Philipsburg, having resulted in the bar being evacuated. Gerald Lansberry is charged with a felony count of terroristic threats. State Police were called to the scene with a K-9 unit, who searched for explosives, but none were found. Later, Lansberry told authorities he may have said something about a bomb, but blamed it on being drunk. While authorities were conducting an investigation into the threat they learned Lansberry was already wanted for failing to appear in Clearfield County Court on a separate case. Lansberry was arrested and taken to jail.
