Two Centre County women were denied bail in a child endangerment and drug case. 58 year old Tammy Watkins and 36 year old Sierra Long, both from Julian, have been accused of leaving drugs, including meth out, and in reach of children. Authorities received an anonymous complaint about the women in January. When state police arrived at their home to investigate, they reportedly saw a child in a crib with a full diaper, on a mat that was wet. The home also was described as having big bags of trash inside, with a cat litter box filled with urine and feces, dishes piled in the sink and stains covering the children’s bedding. Watkins and Long have been charged with numerous felony counts of child endangerment, along with misdemeanor counts of possessing drugs. Preliminary hearings are scheduled for April 10th.
