The FBI says it is now combing through the phone of the man who attempted to assassinate former President Trump last Saturday at a rally in Butler. The assassination attempt left Trump with an ear injury, one man dead, and two others injured. The FBI says its technical specialists have successfully gained access to Thomas Matthew Crooks’ phone and will now use the phone to see if a motive for the shooting can be determined. This comes after the FBI previously completed a search of Crooks’ Bethel Park home.
