
A Blair County bridge is set to be named for a local Vietnam War Vet. According to the office of State Representative Jim Gregory, the bridge is located on Ski Gap Road in Greenfield Township. Next Tuesday, the bridge will be dedicated as the Cpl. Clyde E. Walter Jr., Memorial Bridge. Walter served in the Vietnam War while serving in the Army. He bravely gave his life after encountering hostile gunfire in South Vietnam, in October of 1970. The dedication will take place next Tuesday, July 23rd at 2 p.m. at the Ski Gap Community Center in Claysburg.
