Punxsutawney Phil: Six More Weeks Of Winter

Yesterday, a  record-setting crowd of 50-thousand people, including Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro, celebrated Groundhog Day in 20-degree temperatures at Gobbler’s Knob in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania for the “seer of seers” to make his prediction.  Shortly before 7:30 a.m., the president of the “Inner Circle” used his “magic cane” to determine which of the two scrolls Punxsutawney Phil wanted to be read.  The scroll read that Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow and we’re in for six more weeks of winter.  Groundhog Day dates back to 1886, and legend has it that Punxsutawney Phil has never been wrong.
