The driver of a truck that crashed into a train in Friedens, Somerset County, last month has been cited. State police have identified the driver as 42-year-old Bradley Mahan of Johnstown. According to a police report, Mahan was allegedly traveling at a high rate of speed when he crashed into the side of the train near the intersection of Route 281 and Culligan Road. Mahan reportedly has been cited for not driving his vehicle at a safe speed. The crash closed Route 281 for several days due to cleanup.
