Centre Co., Man Charged With Arson, Bail Denied

A Centre County man is behind bars for allegedly setting fire to his apartment.  State police arrested 26-year-old Paul Eby who is accused of setting fire early yesterday to his apartment located along East Main Street in the Borough of Millheim.  Reportedly, one of the building’s tenants told authorities that Eby was acting “agitated” just before the fire alarm went off.  Eby was arrested and charged with felony arson and numerous counts of reckless endangerment.  He has been placed in the Centre County Prison where bail has been denied.  His preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 16^th.
