Fire destroyed a Logan Township home on Saturday afternoon, leaving one man homeless. Firefighters responded to the blaze at 3002 Gwin Road around 1:30. An elderly man who resided in the home was removed safely, thanks to his cousin who was passing the home at the time, when he spotted the fire, and two Penn State Altoona Students. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries reported. The state police fire marshal has been called in to investigate.
