The Trump administration is introducing a proposal to cut one-point-two billion dollars from the National Park Service’s budget of three-point-one billion. The idea was released Friday and amounts to a 38-percent cut in the Park Service’s budget. That plan also includes a proposal to turn over a number of unnamed federally-run park areas to the control of states. According to the National Park Service, Pennsylvania has 19 locations that are designated as national parks including the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area and the Upper Delaware Scenic & Recreational River.
