wrta-logo-sm

Former Philadelphia Eagle defensive lineman Juqua Parker allegedly was driving under the influence of alcohol in March, when he lost control of his vehicle near State College and crashed.  Parker reportedly told authorities he had had two drinks earlier at a sports bar in State College, before the crash occurred, on the 3200 block of West Pine Road in Ferguson Township.  Police say Parker failed a sobriety test and had a blood-alcohol content twice the legal limit.  Parker, who was driving home when the crash occurred, has been charged with two misdemeanor counts of DUI.  His preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 2nd.  Parker served seven seasons with the Eagles before he retired in 2012.
