A Clearfield County man is facing nearly 3,000 charges following an investigation into allegations of child sex abuse. State police in Clearfield County say 38-year-old Devin Moore of Grampian was arrested last week after he allegedly struck two juvenile sisters after a dispute concerning household chores. During the investigation police report that one of the victims told them that Moore allegedly molested her on a nearly daily basis for about five years, beginning when she was in 4th grade. Police also reported the victims’ mother was allegedly aware of the allegations. Moore has been jailed on thousands of charges including 500 felony counts of indecent assault. He has been placed in the Clearfield County Prison, where bail has been denied. His preliminary hearing is slated for June 11th. Both juveniles reportedly have been taken into protective custody by the Clearfield County CYS.
