Prosecutors Release Alleged Mangione Manifesto

New York prosecutors in the murder case against Luigi Mangione have now released copies of his alleged manifesto that they say shows his motive for killing UnitedHealthCare CEO Brian Thompson.  The handwritten documents that were recovered following Mangione’s arrest in Altoona on December 9^th, say that the suspect had originally thought about planning a bombing, but decided against that to avoid bystanders being hurt.  He writes that the insurance industry as a whole commit atrocities of horror.  In a note written while in Pennsylvania custody addressed to the FBI, Mangione says “I do apologize for any strife or trauma, but it had to be done.  Frankly, these parasites simply had it coming.”
