The last full moon of spring will peak over Pennsylvania. The strawberry moon will peak overnight Wednesday June 11th and will appear full the day before, and the day after. Weather conditions are reported to be excellent for stargazing. This year’s Strawberry moon is particularly special as it will be the lowest full moon in almost 20 years. The moon gets its name because it peaks during strawberry harvest season.
