Two victims have been identified in yesterday morning’s deadly train/SUV crash that occurred in Rockwood Borough in Somerset County. Police have identified the two as 67-year-old Susan Spangler and 85-year-old Deloris Latshaw, both from Somerset. According to state police the women were traveling through a railroad crossing when their SUV was struck by a freight train. The train’s engineer and conductor were not injured. State police report that all traffic control devices were functioning properly at the time of the crash. Police have not identified which crash victim was driving when the accident occurred. Autopsies on the two victims are scheduled for today.
