A man has been charged with arson after he allegedly set fire to a home in the Moxham section of Johnstown on Monday night. Police were called to home on the 300 block of Linden Avenue after Ramon Santiago reportedly got into an argument with a woman during which time he threatened to kill her, and set fire to her house. Later that evening he reportedly used gasoline to ignite the home, setting himself on fire in the process. He was transported to Pittsburgh for treatment. Santiago has been charged with arson, aggravated assault, and other related counts. No other injuries were reported. The home was destroyed in the blaze.
