An East Freedom man has been accused of planning to murder his co-workers. On Monday, 21-year-old Cedric Kim was arraigned on a single misdemeanor count of making terroristic threats that cause serious public inconvenience. Reportedly, Altoona Police were called to Zach’s Bar and Grill on Sixth Avenue on Sunday, for reports that Kim was allegedly making statements about wanting to murder other employees, and also claimed he had a manifesto, and a kill list. During an investigation it was learned that Kim’s alleged plans were to occur on August 5th. Kim reportedly had been frustrated recently, after being denied a promotion, and police learned the restaurant was reportedly planning on firing him. Witnesses told officers that Kim had numerous outbursts at work recently, telling staff to “go kill themselves”. Kim has been placed in the Blair County Prison. Bail has been set at $250,000. His preliminary hearing is set for July 23rd.
