Minor delays are expected on U.S. Route 219 and Route 271 (Nicktown Hill Road) intersection in Northern Cambria, Cambria County, beginning today. According to PennDOT, contractors will be removing underground storage tanks near the intersection. The project is to last three days. Contractors will conduct work under daylight flagging, with the potential for traffic delays, not to exceed 15 minutes. As always, PennDOT urges motorists to use extra caution while traveling through work zones.
