The annual preseason Big Ten media poll was released yesterday and the Penn State Nittany Lions narrowly edged Ohio State as the favorites to win the conference regular season. It’s the first time Penn State has been the poll’s projected number one team. Last year’s pre-season favorite was Ohio State. Penn State will kick off their season at 3:30 p.m. on August 30th in a home game, when they will face Nevada.
