The first day of the Little League World Series is in the books. In the US bracket, the kids from Las Vegas, Nevada had 18 hits in a 16-1 win over Clarendon Hills, Illinois. Fairfield, Connecticut cruised to a 1-0 win over Richmond, Texas. On the international side, Venezuela rolled to a 5-0 win over Puerto Rico. Panama took advantage of six errors by Australia in a 7-2 victory. The tournament continues today with four more games. The US side of the bracket features matchups between Massachusetts and South Carolina as well as between South Dakota and Pennsylvania. Czechia and Japan kick off the day on the international side, followed by a game between Chinese Taipei and Mexico.
