A former preschool teacher in Centre County has been charged with child endangerment following an investigation into allegations she was both verbally and physically abusive to a number of children in her classroom. According to the Ferguson Township Police Department, 42-year-old Janelle Bobb of Centre Hall has been accused of forcefully grabbing at least five children. Reportedly, Bobb was employed at the Building Bridges School for Early Learning in State College, where the alleged abuse occurred. Police report surveillance footage showed Bobb allegedly being abusive towards five different children. Police say when the alleged abuse occurred, Bobb was alone with the children at the time. Bobb is reported to have been fired from her position. She is facing a felony count of endangering the welfare of children, and is currently free on unsecured bail. Her preliminary hearing is slated for August 27th.
