Former Altoona school aide Travis Barnhill, 24, is facing multiple charges for allegedly showing sexually explicit photos to students during a field trip. Police began an investigation in February after learning of the incident, which occurred at a local bowling alley. Barnhill, who worked as a special education aide, admitted to showing nude photos on his phone, and said he had talked with the students outside of school. Investigators later recovered the photos from his phone and spoke with students who confirmed seeing them. Barnhill was suspended in February and has since been released on $75,000 bail. His preliminary hearing is set for September 10th.
