A 31-year-old Altoona man, has been arrested for the second time in the past several weeks. Last Thursday Shawn Himes was taken into custody after police say he got into a physical dispute, drove erratically through a yard, hit a woman’s car with his vehicle as she tried to leave, and crashed into a telephone pole. Himes was previously arrested on August 31 for allegedly using an axe to threaten two women. He is currently in Blair County Prison on a $100,000 bail.
