Following public opposition, the Ebensburg Borough Council voted against a proposal to rezone certain residential areas as mixed village commercial. Yesterday, during a public hearing, residents raised concerns about parking, safety, traffic increases, and the potential presence of businesses such as alcohol distributors, nightclubs, and vape stores in these areas.
