Two Windber Area High School football players face criminal charges in juvenile court following an alleged hazing incident involving nine younger teammates. The incident reportedly occurred in the school’s weight room and surrounding areas, involving “unacceptable” and embarrassing acts, some of a sexual nature. Reportedly the acts did not involve any exposed genitalia. The school district reports there is no indication that any coaches were aware of the alleged acts. The Somerset County D.A.’s Office will now be involved, as the case moves through the system.
