HIA Refusing To Play Kristi Noem Shutdown Video

Harrisburg International is among airports refusing to play a video that blames Democrats for the government shutdown at TSA checkpoints.  The video features Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem saying, “Democrats in Congress refuse to fund the federal government, and because of this, many of our operations are impacted.”  Officials at several airports including Philadelphia, New York, and Boston have decided not to play the video at TSA checkpoints.  In a statement yesterday, HIA said it is not showing the video because it “does not provide any value to improving the passenger experience.”
