Eight people were arrested by Altoona Police on drug trafficking charges following an investigation by city and state police, after reports of two suspected overdose calls last Friday at two different residences, each located along 5th Avenue. The charges include possession with intent to deliver heroin/fentanyl and methamphetamine. Those charged include, 46-year-old William Hampton, 33-year-old Anna Knipple, 37-year-old Nicholas Yohrling, 47-year-old Joshua Anspach, 38-year-old Nicole Lonergan, 42-year-old Melissa Vonarx, 23-year-old Jordan Woolridge, and 35-year-old Holly Bennett. Court documents show that everyone, except for Vonarx, has been arrested and placed in the Blair County Prison in lieu of bail.
