Long Waits In TSA Lines

long-lines

Travelers continue to face long wait times to get through security due to staffing issues caused by the government shutdown.  In just one example, wait times for TSA checkpoints at Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport reached three-hours for the second-straight day Monday.  The lines snaked around and out of terminals.  TSA agents have been working without pay since the shutdown.  So have air traffic controllers.  Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy has said agents won’t be fired for not showing up for work.
