PA Voters Retain 3 State Supreme Court Justices

judges-2

Three Pennsylvania Supreme Court justices will be retained.  That would preserve the Democrats’ 5-2 majority in the state’s high court.  Justices Kevin Dougherty, and David Wecht won ten-year terms, while Christine Donohue will serve until 2027 when she’ll reach the mandatory retirement age of 75 for justices.  The race got national attention as Democrats tried to keep their majority in the key battleground state.  The justices appeared on the ballot without any party designation, but each got support from Governor Josh Shapiro, and former President Obama.
