A federal judge says the Trump administration has to pay full November SNAP benefits by today. The judge in Rhode Island said during yesterday’s hearing that “people have gone without for too long.” The Trump administration had planned to partially fund the food stamp program for 42-million Americans, two million of which are in Pennsylvania. And while those in need await their SNAP benefits, as a reminder the Blair County Food Drive is into its final weekend. The drive is taking place at Altoona Sam’s Club and Walmart, and the Duncansville/East Freedom Walmart as well. Hours are 8-8 today and tomorrow, 8-6 on Sunday. Sunday is the final day of the drive. The Blair County Food Drive helps to benefit over 30 food banks, and back-pack programs in the area.
