A state bill is seeking to legalize flying cars. State Senator Marty Flynn has reintroduced the “Jetsons Act,” a proposal that would create a new legal category for roadable aircraft in Pennsylvania. The legislation is currently under review by the Senate Transportation Committee and aims to position Pennsylvania as a leader in advanced transportation by establishing a regulatory framework for flying cars. Some of the requirements for these flying cars would be they would have to adhere to the same traffic laws on land as other vehicles, and in the air they would remain under federal aviation oversight. The cost of these flying cars is rumored to be about $1-million.
