Area residents are preparing for the first significant snowfall of the season. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for portions of Central and Western Pennsylvania beginning early Tuesday morning at 1:00 a.m. , and continuing until tomorrow afternoon at 1:00 p.m. Our listening area is expected to see between two-to-four inches of snow. Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses will likely become slick and hazardous. The conditions could impact tomorrow morning’s commute. Anyone traveling tomorrow is urged to use extreme caution. By the way, the northeast part of the state will be under a winter storm watch, where up to five inches of snow could fall.
