It looks like Pennsylvania residents who are in the market for an artificial Christmas tree will be paying more for them this year. Jami Warner with the American Christmas Tree Association says the fake evergreens are costing consumers about 15 to 20-percent more as suppliers and retailers deal with a 30-percent tariff. Lights and holiday decorations shipped in from Indonesia could be seeing tariffs of almost 70-percent, according to Warner. Folks looking to save a little money with a live tree can find nearby farms by visiting the Pennsylvania Christmas Tree Growers Association webpage.
