The spirit of giving begins today as it’s Drive by Giving Day in the parking lot of Lightner Communications. The drive started at 6 this morning and will continue until 6 this evening. This is the 26th year of the event with all donations going to Family Services Inc. One hundred percent of the donations stay local in an effort to help those Blair County families in need. We are looking for non-perishable food items, new unwrapped toys, toiletries, and if you wish to make a cash donation, make checks payable to Family Services Inc. Lightener communications is located at the corner of 6th and Union Avenues in Altoona.
