Bradley Lavan, the former Somerset County 911 coordinator, pleaded guilty yesterday to all charges against him—including numerous counts of child rape—after forcing his young victims to testify in court. The 32-year-old Lavan was accused of abusing victims between the ages of two and six at his home from 2021 to 2023. Though prosecutors had hoped for an earlier resolution, Lavan waited until the trial was underway and the children had delivered emotional testimony before admitting his guilt to over 30 felony charges. Prosecutors emphasized that no plea offers were made, and no charges were dropped. Lavan is currently held in jail while awaiting his sentence.
