The Staple Bend Tunnel in Cambria County is closed because of a recent rockfall, however according to the National Park Service, the trail remains open. Reportedly, from the Mineral Point Trailhead, visitors can bypass the tunnel by a path located around the right side of it. It is not known how long the tunnel will remain closed.
