Homegrown Rocker Playlist/Recap 11/9/25

Hello Everyone,

Here is the recap of the November 9 edition of “The Homegrown Rocker,” which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on Q94 Classic Rock (www.q94classicrock.com), and from 10 PM to midnight on 107.1 and 101.3 Jack FM (www.1071jack.fm)!

We returned to the mailboxes on this week’s program to check out new area recordings have arrived at “Homegrown Rocker” headquarters in recent weeks! We debuted new songs from Emily’s ToyBox, Punchline, Paper Plants, The Shiners, Tony Nasralla, Van Wagner, Buffalo Rose, Patrick Motto, X-Terra, Pensive Fear, Negative Thirteen and Anthrophobia! We also updated “Local Music News,” played a remastered 1985 song by Altoona metal rockers Anaconda for this week’s “Local Music Flashback,” stepped “Across State Lines” to hear a song by Detroit heavy rockers Supreme Mystic and more! For 25 years, Punchline has been generating their multi-flavored brand of rock music, and they recently released their new album called “Somewhere to Land.” We’ll learn Punchline’s story and hear several of their new songs, plus discuss their involvement in the upcoming AnEmergencyScene 20th Anniversary celebration on November 29 at Liberty Hall at Hollidaysburg’s U.S. Hotel Tavern! We’ll also update “Local Music News” and dig a “Local Music Flashback” from the archive! In Local Music News…

A date has been announced for the 5th annual Toys for Tots Concert & Fundraiser in northern Cambria County. The benefit will take place on Saturday, December 6 at the Patton American Legion. The event starts at 1 p.m. The band lineup for the event will be announced shortly. Donations, raffle prizes, or sponsorships from generous local businesses are welcomed to help make this event a success.

Submissions are currently being accepted for nominee suggestions for the 2026 Central PA Music Awards, which will be presented early next year. The deadline for submissions is December 22. The official CPMA nominees will then be announced in early 2026. The date, time and location for the Central PA Music Awards, as well as the Central Pennsylvania Music Hall Of Fame induction ceremony, will be announced shortly.
