State Police attempted to stop a white Chevy Impala with an expired registration, which the criminal complaint states initially pulled over before accelerating to speeds near 90 mph on Stoystown Road, in Somerset County. The chase proceeded to US-219, where police utilized a PIT maneuver to safely end the pursuit. The driver was identified as 20-year-old Jadus Stubbs of Pittsburgh. A passenger in the car has been identified as 22-year-old Amyah Harris of Uniontown. Reportedly bags of heroin were discovered inside the vehicle. Both were arrested and placed in the Somerset County Prison on numerous drug related charges. Also found in the car was a juvenile who was reportedly taken home to his legal guardian.
