Clearfield Police have identified the 28-year-old woman who is alleged to have assaulted two nurses last Friday at Penn Highlands-Clearfield. She has been identified as Raelyn Anderson of Irvona. Reportedly Anderson was hospitalized under a ‘mental health warrant’ which prohibited her from leaving her hospital room. Police say she became irate and pulled the hair of one of the nurses and started punching that individual in the face until she was finally restrained by staff. Anderson faces numerous charges, and has been placed in the Clearfield County Prison awaiting arraignment.
