The Bellwood-Antis School Board returned to its full nine-member capacity Tuesday night with the appointment of Bryan Fatzinger. Fatzinger, a middle school science teacher within the State College Area School District, was selected from a pool of four candidates to fill the vacancy. The seat was previously held by Kathy Sweigert, who stepped down less than two months after her November 2025 election to focus on family health needs. Fatzinger will hold the office until the next municipal election in November 2027.
