A significant winter weather system is going to bring dangerously low wind chills to the East Coast and Midwest tonight through tomorrow. The National Weather Service has issued a cold weather advisory beginning tonight at 9:00 until tomorrow at noon. Wind chills as low as 10-20 below are expected. The cold weather advisory has been issued for Blair, Cambria, Somerset, Clearfield, Centre, Bedford and Clinton Counties. You are being advised to dress in layers as these extreme wind chills could result in hypothermia or frostbite if precautions are not taken. And of course if you have pets you keep outside, bring them indoors.
