The Pa. Turnpike unveiled a new ‘Super Plow’ during yesterday’s storm. The plow was used in the Somerset area, and was able to plow two lanes of highway at once. The Pa., Turnpike Commission said the front and wing plows clear a width of 27 feet in one pass. The equipment is a 550-horsepower tri-drive truck with three rear axles.
