Huntingdon Co., Man Arrested On Possession

cuffs-and-drugs

A 19 year old Huntingdon County man is behind bars after police reportedly found him in possession of methamphetamine after he tried to flee from state police.  Arrested last week was Danny Richardson the third.  On January 23rd, around 9 p.m., Huntingdon State Police attempted to serve an arrest warrant on Richardson on Main Street in Huntington.  According to the criminal complaint, Richardson was spotted in a black Ford sedan that attempted to evade troopers by making an abrupt turn and accelerating away.  State Police eventually ended the pursuit by performing a PIT maneuver, which sent the vehicle into a ditch.  Richardson was then taken into custody at the scene.  During a search of the vehicle, methamphetamine was found, along with alprazoloam and oxycodone pills.  Richardson is facing charges that include possession with intent to deliver, and other related counts.  He has been placed in the Huntingdon County Prison in lieu of bail.  He is to face a preliminary hearing on February 4th.
