State Police are launching an investigation into the death of an inmate at SCI Benner in Bellefonte, that occurred last week. Authorities said Ryan Paige died at the Centre County facility on Thursday from an apparent suicide. Paige was a few years into a six-decade sentence for shooting and killing his father in 2020.
