A Roaring Spring man, and registered sex offender is in custody following an alleged sexual assault in a restaurant bathroom that occurred last Wednesday in Greenfield Township. Arrested was 33-year-old Tanor Swope. The victim reported that Swope followed her into a bathroom stall while she was working, and assaulted her. Prior to the attack, Swope allegedly attempted to solicit nude photos from her on Snapchat leading the victim to block him. As a Tier 2 sex offender under Pennsylvania’s Megan’s Law, Swope is required to register all social media accounts, which reportedly he failed to do. Swope has been charged with deviate sexual intercourse, sexual assault, and other related counts. He has been placed in the Blair County Prison where bail has been denied. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for February 19th.
