Cursive Writing Returning To PA Classrooms

Pennsylvania is poised to mandate that public and private elementary schools teach cursive writing with House Bill 17 having passed last week in the Senate, and now heading to Governor Josh Shapiro.  The initiative reportedly aims to improve students’ motor skills, cognitive development and ability to read historical documents.  Pennsylvania is joining over 24 states that have enacted similar laws.
