Penn State hockey star Gavin McKenna will no longer appear in court on assault charges this week. Officials say McKenna’s preliminary hearing scheduled for tomorrow has been moved back a month to March 11th. The 18-year-old is accused of punching a man twice in the head outside of the Pugh Street Parking Garage in State College late last month, causing him to need surgery for a fractured jaw. A felony aggravated assault charge against McKenna was dropped last week, but he is still charged with a misdemeanor.
