Pennsylvania lawmakers are considering a measure that would legalize third-party alcohol deliveries in the commonwealth. House Bill 1451 would give a green light for apps like DoorDash and Uber Eats to bring beer, wine, and liquor directly to customers’ doors. Under the proposal, delivery drivers would have to complete state liquor control board training and they would be barred from leaving alcohol at a house unattended or with someone who is already visibly intoxicated. The measure has not yet made it out of committee in Harrisburg.
