We head to Centre County for Q94’s latest “Local Song of the Week,” and check out the first single from State College-based Americana, country and honky tonk-based group One Acre West! After founding members Steve and Kristi Jean Branstetter explored country and folk flavors in their previous cover-leaning group Kristi Jean & Her Ne’er Do Wells, they formed One Acre West last year as a vehicle to explore their own musical creativity and bring their own stories to life. The pleasant and upbeat “Boy Like That” is the first single issued from the group’s recently-released self-titled debut album.
