A West Virginia man is behind bars after a failed heist ended in arson at a Somerset County business early yesterday morning.  Pennsylvania State Police arrested 32-year-old Brandon Barr, who was already wanted by Maryland authorities, at Salisbury Builders Supply Inc.  Troopers were led to the scene after discovering Barr’s disabled vehicle abandoned nearby.  According to investigators, Barr allegedly broke into the hardware company and attempted to steal six different vehicles. After causing visible damage to several trucks, and the office area while searching for keys, he reportedly attempted to light a pile of lumber on fire by dousing it with fuel.  Barr is now jailed in the Somerset County Prison, and is facing multiple felony charges, including attempted theft and arson.
